There are over 8 million movies in the world, but once you finish watching your favorite tv show or just watched your favorite movie for the trillionth time, you don't know what to watch next, finding something based on your interests from recommendation systems in media streaming platforms is very hard, so we created Movie Generator, which gives movies you should watch based on your interests, you just have to input the genre of film, year the movie is released, minimum rating out of 10, language and boom! You have a full list of movies you can watch one by one!

Problems We Faced

1. We were split between 2 countries and timezones, so that made timing fairly difficult for us.
2. We kept getting errors with Flask and problems connecting the frontend and backend.
3. We spent a long time getting the "Play Trailer" button to work efficiently.
4. It took us over 5 hours to purely make the cards on the results page work.

What We Learned

1. We learned how to efficiently and quickly read from large datasets and render results.
2. We got a much better understanding of CSS.
3. We now understand backend and frontend much better.

What's next?

1. We'll probably add a way to get more information about movies. Maybe read more info from IMDB and get Rotten Tomato ratings.
2. We might design a login/signup system where users can rate movies, add movies to their watchlist, create public or private movie playlists and share them.
