Inspiration

A colleague moved from GSuite to Office 365 recently and missed her GMail filters.

What it does

Read your filters and create rules based on them.

How I built it

Entirely client-side in JavaScript hosted on Azure web sites.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge was figuring out how to authenticate to both the Google and Microsoft APIs. I could find libraries that would do one or the other, but they all seemed to leverage different platforms, until I settled on JavaScript.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Making it really simple.

What I learned

As a part time developer with a background in C# and Java, I learned a lot about JavaScript and team work.
