Inspiration

i really liked those games where people would use a game element not typically used in the game genre they are adhering to. so i deciaded to pick a maze escape game with the use of a character and a cursor!

What it does

you use AD and spacebar to control the character. along with the mouse pointer to hit switches along the walls. this game takes extreme timing to beat so dont take the challenge lightly!

How i built it

my own two hands and a dream, but also using the Unity game engine and C++ to code it. Aesprite for the 2D assets.

Challenges i ran into

definitely the lack of manpower for one, just me on the team creating the assets, coding, debugging... its a lot for one person to take on in 24 hours alone. had to pull a all nighter to get this far.

Accomplishments that i proud of

i feel as though i implemented the click mechanic as best as i could.

What's next for MouseTrap

im likely to add sound and more polished game features on my own time.
