Inspiration

So the main the problem we notice and face was the lack of an easy to use and dedicated Crowdfunding platform, easy to use peer to peer transactions medium, lot of transfer receipts, long bank queues and a reliable payment system like Mobile Money for Cameroonians

What it does

So we came with the platform called Mouniverse. this application solves three main niche in fintech, firstly it generates customizable pay links which are cable of receiving funds for crowd funding and fundraisers, and as a business man your can customize a pay-link to receive money both nationally and internationally. We also have a feature for fast transfers which enables everyone to send money in 3 simple steps. And the last feature is a finance management system which tracks all your recent transactions and gives you a knowledge on how you have being spending or receiving payments

How we built it

We use the flutter framework , with dart programming language to gain easy access to both mobile and web development. We also use firebase for as database to ensure real time synchronization of data between the application and the web.

Challenges we ran into

So the first challenge we ran into was access to API's which we are still hoping to gain access to(so we just use USSD codes while waiting) . Also with the free plan for fire base database , we are limited in certain aspects

Accomplishments that we're proud of

So some of the things we have accomplish so far is Easy transfer(that is to transfer money in 3 simple steps. Also finance management and keep of all transaction records with easy customization of paylinks

What's next for MoUniverse

Our next big thing is trying to integrate fast crypto payments which users can send and receive money directly to your mobile money account without worrying about any complicated processes
