Motorized Leisure Chair

I worked on the chassis platform of the chair, among other assorted tasks such as designing and building a cooling system for the motors powering the chair. I had to relearn skills that we're underutilized until now.

Lucas Kane
I was the project leader and originator of the concept. I also researched and acquired materials for the project, and was one of the leading team members orchestrating the assembly of our robotic chair platform.

Seth Schaffer
I set up the breadboard and wrote the Arduino code for the chair that allows the motors to be controlled by a two-axis thumbstick control (with forward/backward/turn left/ and turn right movements), via Electronic Speed Controllers attached to the motors.
