What iThe idea behind Motor Rider came from classic endless runner and bike racing games that are simple, fast, and addictive. I wanted to create a lightweight, fun Snap Game that anyone could instantly play inside Snapchat without downloads. My goal was to blend casual mobile gaming with Snap’s interactive Lens experience.t does
How we built it Used Lens Studio Game Template & Scene Objects
• Implemented:
• Bike movement & lane switching
• Obstacle spawning and collision detection
• Score tracking system
• Mobile-optimized UI & camera setup
• Designed a portrait mobile gameplay experience for Snapchat users
• Tested gameplay directly using Lens Preview on device
Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges was optimizing performance while keeping visuals engaging. Handling collisions and keeping movement smooth across devices also required multiple iterations and testing. Balancing difficulty to keep the game fun but not frustrating was another key challenge.
