Inspiration

We needed something to help us stick to our goal of trying to write everyday, to add a bit of spice to an otherwise mundane task.

What it does

A writing app that tracks and gamifies your writing experience. Transforms the abstract work of writing into something tangible and displays your progress and stats for everyday you write.

How we built it

Starting with the basic framework, we initially built the UI and design of the app, then further proceeded to write the code using Flutter.

Challenges we ran into

We were short on time and this is where working as a team proved to be the best method ; we delegated the tasks among ourselves and we got farther than personally expected. Facing inexperience with the language used for coding is one which you overcome by merely starting and then further not stopping, and we'll be carrying this forward with us.

What we learned

Working alongside my peers who had different levels of expertise was an eye opening experience. Exploring multiple ways to arrive at a solution and brainstorming together was the best learning experience of university. Exposure to different approaches to the same problem expanded our mindset and helped us think different
