Inspiration

I was inspired by everyday moments of hesitation—the pause before sending a message, starting a task, or speaking up. These small anxieties are common, yet often ignored.

What it does

VibeSoothe helps me and others slow down and take small, practical steps in moments of overthinking. I can describe a situation and get short, calming actions designed to reduce mental friction and restore confidence.

How I built it

I built VibeSoothe as a simple, text-based experience focused on clarity and ease of use. I kept the interface minimal so users can move from thought to action without distraction.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge was keeping responses specific and helpful without overwhelming the user. Striking the right balance between empathy and action required careful design and iteration.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I’m proud of creating something that feels calm, human, and genuinely useful. The experience respects the user’s mental state and avoids being preachy or complicated.

What I learned

I learned that small actions matter, and that people feel more supported when guidance is simple, optional, and respectful of their attention.

What's next for VibeSoothe

I plan to add voice input so users can express themselves more naturally, and continue refining the experience to better support everyday moments of anxiety.
