Inspiration
I generally work online either I am learning something or building something and both these things require a browser. So I used to get bored at some time when I feel just left this here and there was nothing to motivate me at that time so today I build an extension while attending the workshop which helps me to get that motivation.
What it does
It gives you motivational quotes whenever you click on it. And it is never the same it fetches a new quote every time you click on the icon.
How I built it
I used normal HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript to build it. I used an API to fetch random thoughts every time. It was hard to find the free API for this task thanks to link for motivational gets which helped me to achieve my goal.
What's next for Motivation Buddy
Further, I will add some features to it like you can add your daily goals into it and it will push you to accomplish it.
How to use
- You can download the zip file from the given link.
- Then enable the Developer Mode in extensions tab in Chrome Browser.
- Then load unpacked the zip file of the extension in it and pin it.
- Now you are all set to get motivational quote whenever you need.
