Inspiration

I and many of my friends often stumble on the way to our goals. We are often there for each other, but sometimes I can't get ahold of them when I need a pick me up. Motivate Me is designed to motivate you when you need that surge of energy to keep moving towards your goals or pick you up out of a tough spot!

What it does

Motivate Me is trained on notable speeches and quotes to arm it with examples to inspire you to work towards your goals. It asks for a small amount of info about you, your challenge, and your accomplishments and provides the boost you need in a tone you prefer.

How we built it

I built this app on Snowflake and Streamlit Community Cloud primarily by following the tutorial and modifying it for my own use case. Mistral Chat came in handy too.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm happy to have a working app that we can actually use in practice! I found myself using it today midway through working on this project. Meta.

What's next for Motivate Me

I would love to incorporate TruEra to help determine how relevant the context chunks that Motivate Me is pulling are to the response, as well as the answer and context relevance. I think this would help improve the quality of the app. In addition, I'd love to store user data to maintain a history of past chats so that the bot can remember what a user has told them before and remind it to them when they're feeling down, just like a good friend does.
