Inspiration
These days, studying creates excessive stress and anxiety for students all around the world. We wanted to bridge to gap between productivity, self-improvement, and levity.
What it does
By taking inspiration from our favorite applications such as Notion, Youtube, and Tiktok, we created a space where students can simultaneously stay on track, be rewarded for their effort, all while learning about self-improvement and being able to relax their brains after an intense sprint of work.
How we built it
Motion was built with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Challenges we ran into
A main challenge we ran into was getting started with the code and understanding the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, as we are beginners. Another major challenge was understanding layout and getting our progress wheel to update.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning how to code HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the first time. Making a functional to-do list and embedding multiple videos.
What we learned
We learned how to develop our first web app, debug our code, and integrate javascript into a website.
What's next for Motion
We want to integrate Canvas API to automatically sync school assignments as well as import an hourly calendar view to help students manage their time better.
