Inspiration

This project is inspired by the interface of Tinder and other dating apps.

What it does

The app "matches" you with Mundimoto's motorbikes. When you like a product, our choices for customers keep on improving. We also planned to create an appraiser for possible sellers.

How we built it

We used Node.js to build the back-end API and Flutter to provide the app's front-end. The API is also available through Heroku: https://motinder-api.herokuapp.com.

Challenges we ran into

One of us had none programming experience. One of us has been hospitalized during the hackathon. We've faced programming languages we didn't know.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got the app to look simple and sexy. Also, we've learnt so much from eachother.

What we learned

Firstly, Mundimoto's business model. Secondly, it was the first hackathon for 3 of us, so that implies a lot of taking up new soft skills. Idk, we just had fun working together :)

What's next for Motinder

Building the whole front. Building the appraiser's back (we have similar projects with Python, it shouldn't be hard, but we needed to play fair and thus, use fresh code). Improving the Motinder's back-end.
