Inspiration

We had procrastinated coming up an idea for this project and it would have been helpful if someone had reminded us to get it done

What it does

It matches people based on their written bio using generative AI

How we built it

React with vite with type script with firebase for authentication and mongodb for database and digital ocean for server and chatgpt for AI and express js

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of problems connecting our client to our server backend. We also had problems with react in our chat page which would clear everytime you got a chat.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really proud of the design of the webapp. We think it looks really cool and love the style

What we learned

We learned alot about the whole process of web development, including frontend, with react, css and styling systems, to the backend, with integrating with other APIs, creating our own REST api, and using websockets for the chat system.
