Inspiration

Hybrid work made progress feel invisible. 75% of remote workers feel disconnected, and burnout hit 42% in 2024. AI will do more execution, so humans need meaning and visible creation.

Track Fit

CBRE and General

What it does

Mosaic turns tasks and habits into tiles. As you finish them, the tiles tint and slowly reveal a picture. There are two views: a Team Sprint Mosaic that shows shared progress, and a Personal Wellness Mosaic that tracks daily habits. The focus is on celebrating movement without calling out individuals.

How we built it

We designed the experience in Figma. The prototype includes hover tips, tile selection, a small task panel, and an “Ask for help” path. We used accessible color tokens, added patterns so status isn’t only shown by color, and included a reduced-motion option.

Challenges we ran into

We needed the image reveal to feel motivating but not loud. We had to keep the picture readable as more tiles fill in. We also balanced team visibility with personal privacy and made sure status cues worked for everyone.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a calm, cohesive system that shows progress at a glance. The tile-to-image reveal feels natural and uplifting. The team and personal views work together in a single, clear flow.

What we learned

When people can see small wins, they stay engaged. Simple visuals are easier to read than heavy dashboards. Building in accessibility and privacy from the start creates trust.

What's next for Mosaic

We will explore an AR mock that shows the mosaic on a wall and supports a simple “mark tile done” interaction.
