Inspiration

I am Jenny Tate, a Mortgage Agent Level 1 in Burlington, Ontario. Clients kept showing me numbers from AI chatbots that used US rules: no CMHC insurance, no stress test, wrong land transfer tax.

What it does

Mortgage Tools by Jenny is a free set of Canadian mortgage calculators:

• Monthly payments with Canadian semi-annual compounding
• Affordability with GDS/TDS and the stress test
• CMHC mortgage insurance premiums
• Ontario and Toronto land transfer tax
• Renewal and refinance comparisons

The same tools run as a remote MCP server at https://mcp.jenny.mortgage/mcp so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can call them directly.
