The workshop inspired me!

What it does

This site translates English to Morse code and back. Words in Morse code are separated with / characters, and letters in Morse code are separated with spaces. When translating from Morse code to English, all letters are translated as lowercase letters.

How we built it

I used VSCode, Javascript, and HTML5 to make this site. The site is also hosted here on GitHub Pages. I submitted my project to the GitHub Student Gallery.

Challenges we ran into

I haven't coded in Javascript often, so the workshop walkthrough was very clear and helpful.

What we learned

I learned about the Live Server extension on VSCode, which is super useful. I also learned more about Javascript and HTML.

What's next for Morse Code Translator

I can fix up the UI/UX and make the page look nice.
