Inspiration
To bring back the retro means of communication that is morse code in a more fun and beginner friendly way
What it does
Allows 2 people to talk to each other via morse code
How we built it
We built it by using Javascript, PHP, XAMPP, ngrok, SQL, HTML and CSS by using the javascript code to take input from the user and then using PHP to store the data into an SQL server that will be hosted on XAMPP and allowed connection to the internet through ngrok
Challenges we ran into
Implementing the chatting functionality by using the localhost and the database as core points and means of communication and allowing access through the internet
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing the project in 12 hours
What we learned
How we can use PHP in multiple ways for databases, communication and backend integration along with encryption and morse code based coding
What's next for Morse Code communicator
Providing more convenience and functionality to the communicator such that it can be used as a way of communication and also entertainment
