Inspiration

As a fresh graduate stepping into my first job in the tech industry, I immediately felt the pressure of balancing multiple fronts—managing my finances (rent, daily meals, and bills) on a starter salary, handling the intense workload of a Product Manager role, and figuring out how to grow both inside and outside of work. This overwhelming juggling act inspired me to create Morrow: a companion that helps young professionals navigate life's chaos with clarity and structure.

What it does

Morrow provides customized, all-in-one management tailored to your specific needs—whether it's financial planning, career tracking, or mental well-being. Beyond the dashboard, you can also chat directly with Morrow to untangle your current confusions and get actionable advice, making it feel like a true copilot for your daily life.

How we built it

I used ChatGPT for the core reasoning and product logic, and Codex for the actual coding. Over time, these two seamlessly merged into a single unified workflow. By configuring specialized skills and knowledge bases, I was able to transform raw ideas into a well-structured system quickly and efficiently.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was managing the sheer diversity of scattered requirements—work tasks, financial tracking, physical and mental health, career growth—all at once. Prioritizing these features and designing a coherent, user-friendly interaction panel was initially overwhelming and chaotic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

At first, I simply threw fragmented requests at Codex ("I want this," "I don't want that," etc.). But by systematically configuring skills and knowledge bases, I successfully distilled all those messy needs into a clear, comprehensive, and beautifully hierarchical feature set. It was incredibly satisfying to see the product transform from scattered thoughts into a polished tool.

What we learned

This project taught me that even when leveraging vibe coding tools, having a solid product methodology and domain knowledge is absolutely essential. A strong foundational understanding of product design helps you iterate faster, make better architectural decisions, and polish the user experience—especially when working with external coding assistants.

What's next for Morrow

Next, I plan to bring Morrow to more real-world users. I want to deeply listen to their feedback, understand their genuine pain points, and continue refining the product to truly serve their needs. The goal is to evolve Morrow into a tool that genuinely empowers every young professional on their journey.
