Get to class on time! This alarm knows you well, no cheating anymore!
What it does
Enough snoozing your alarms. This alarm knows how you've been tricking your old ones. It only deactivates after you show your face.
How we built it
We built our project using Kivy, pyTorch, openCV.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was trying to design a model that works, taking into account every possible situation and circumstance. We ran into problems like training the neural network on Google Cloud. Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing our project and overcoming all the issues we ran into. We are proud of our alarm which is definitely going to be way more efficient in getting us out of bed.
What we learned
We learnt how brain dead you get after coding for 48 hours straight.
What's next for MorningFace
We intend to add some more cool features to our app such as smiling to deactivate, or playing a game. We want to take it up a notch, something more interactive than facial recognition to really wake you up in the morning.
