More Than Words AR/AI Solution

Inspiration

Our team was inspired to create a dynamic solution for both the local business problem & customer-facing problem by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance the experience of all users.

What it does

Augmented Reality: Allows Local businesses to see a simulated book cart in their space. Artificial Intelligence (LLM): Allows patrons to scan a book cart, upload the photo, and ask the interface for book recommendations.

How we built it

Augmented Reality: 3D design of the book cart using Rhino, implementation of the AR using Adobe Aero. Artificial Intelligence: Combination of css, Python, Flask, html, and the OpenAI API to integrate ChatGPT4 into our server.

Challenges we ran into

• Leveraging relatively new technology to meet our needs
• Integrating OpenAI API into our code
• Learning new AR technologies
• Fixing visual downloads to resolve resolution problems

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Successfully solving multiple problems for our host through our integrated solutions.
