Inspiration

The project was inspired by the power of music to capture memories, dreams, and emotions. We wanted to create an AI music video that could transform personal experiences and visions into acoustic guitar song with meaningful lyrics, helping people express their journey of moving forward while trusting in fate. The genre category was hard to choose because it has the feel of an acoustic ballad, singer-songwriter but not the energetic qualities sought after in pop category. We went with ROCK/COUNTRY/FOLK/INDIE.

I felt it was more emotional and story-telling than pop music so folk/indie felt the most accurate.

How we built it

We integrated multiple cutting-edge technologies:

  • ElevenLabs: For voice and lyrics synthesis and audio generation with vibe coding
  • Google Vertex AI (Veo 2): For videos, images content generation
  • Kling AI: Additional video generation and sound effects
  • Claude Sonnet 4 + ChatGPT: Creative assistance and project development
  • ClipChamp: Video editing and final production

Challenges we ran into

  • Learning Multiple AI Platforms: As beginners, understanding how ElevenLabs, Google Vertex AI, Kling AI, and ChatGPT each work differently
  • Limited API Credits: Constrained by token limits and API usage costs while learning
  • Understanding AI Workflows: Figuring out how to connect different AI outputs into a cohesive creative process
  • Budget Constraints: Managing costs while experimenting with premium AI services as newcomers
  • Time Management: Balancing learning new technologies with project deadlines
  • Trial and Error: Learning through experimentation what prompts and settings work best for each platform what we learned

Accomplishments that we're proud of
