Moon Phase NFT

Inspiration

I have been wanting to learn more about Chainlink and smart contracts and felt this was a great opportunity to do so.

What it does

My NFT creator uses Chainlink VRF to generate a random number that will determine the Moon Cycle a user will receive when minting their NFT.

How we built it

I used Solidity and Truffle for the back end.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding all the code needed in order to successfully deploy a smart contract.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am happy I was able to submit a project and learn more about Chainlink and smart contracts.

What we learned

I learned a lot about Solidity and how to host images and metadata on IPFS.

What's next for Moon Phase NFT

I want to create my own front end. I also would like to incorporate Chainlink API calls in order to find out the moon cycle and use that data to mint NFTs.
