Inspiration

We wanted to create something that would have a purpose. So we decided to create an app that would benefit the mental well-being of its users.

What it does

The application displays a quote to accompany a user's chosen emotional state.

How we built it

The application was developed in Unity, with its functionality coded in C#.

Challenges we ran into

We had initially stored our collection of quotes in an Excel spreadsheet, which made exporting the data to an array more difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Overall, the functionality of the app is basic, but due to our lack of experience, having a functional app with working buttons is our most prideful accomplishment.

What we learned

While it is tempting to simply start working after settling on a project idea, we learned that setting aside time to plan out our production pipeline is invaluable to working efficiently.

What's next for Moody?

While the concept is certainly serviceable, we currently have no plans to expand the application into a full product. If we were to update the application, we would like to include additional menu options and quotes.
