Moody

Inspiration

We were unhappy with the way echo nest handles mood choices

What it does

plays a random song from soundcloud based on your mood

How we built it

Using python and the soundcloud API

Challenges we ran into

The soundcloud API is terribly written

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Fixing the issues we were having with time stamping of music

What we learned

API's are terrible

What's next for Moody

Functional GUI, more options for sources, and better mood algorithims
