Mood Companion

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came when I saw there was a category for single prompt applications. I thought about what could possibly be built with a single prompt and came up with this idea. That AI could provide some encouragement or praise or even a joke depending on someone's mood at that time.

What it does

The user just has to select the mood they are in at that time and the AI will provide a unique response that matches the mood.

How we built it

I used a single prompt inside of Bolt.new to create the application. I did use the enhance prompt option and then deployed the application.

Challenges we ran into

The first time, I forgot to include the Built by Bolt icon, so I had to prompt it a second time

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a simple app that could help someone feel better.

What we learned

It's all about the prompting. Using the enhance prompt made it so Bolt could easily figure out what to do

What's next for MoodCompanion

I'll probably share it with my friends and if it wins a prize, maybe I'll try to launch it to a larger audience.
