Inspiration
Our team wanted to focus on the mental health aspect of hospice and at-home care, where relationships and human interaction are essential but often absent. Rather than prescriptions and machines, our team believes the best way to promote recovery is to make the patient enjoy life and want to keep up with treatments.
What it does
With its user-friendly interface and cheerful marshmallow mascot, MoodMallow gently checks in throughout the day, helping you express how you're feeling. By tracking your moods, the app can spot triggers like pain or isolation, giving caregivers useful insights to improve your care.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into as first-time front-end developers was formatting and importing styles, but with this experience we know that future website development will go much quicker and smoother.
What's next for MoodMallow - Mood Tracker
Our next steps for MoodMallow are to create a mobile version that can remind users to log their mood throughout the day and take MoodMallow on the go.
