Inspiration
I wanted to build something that wasn't just technical but also emotional. The idea was to create a tool that could help people feel seen by technology — to reflect their mood and lift them up through light and words. MoodLight is my first creative step toward human-centered IoT.
How we built it
Used Bolt.new visual builder to prototype the logic and structure
Then built and deployed a simple frontend version using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify
Logic changes dynamically based on mood selection
No real hardware needed — but it’s ready for IoT extension
Challenges we ran into
Making everything responsive and clean in UI
Linking design with emotional experience
Designing without hardware but still making it feel alive
What's next for MoodLight – A Mood-Based IoT Light App
Connect to a smart RGB LED using Bolt WiFi module
Add more moods and personalization
Include background music or soundscapes
Integrate with APIs (e.g., weather + mood combo)
