Inspiration

Moodie is inspired by the physical way people document their emotion, behaviours, and thoughts during the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can cause inconvenience and forgetfulness. A digital design is bound to replace and improve this journaling experience.

What it does

Moodie provides a way for user to put diary, track their emotion trajectory over time. Share graph or diary with another account user. The notification feature also aims to encourage usage consistency.

How we built it

Moodie's prototype is built on Figma, most of the features are able to be accessed from the home page, making it a seamless and handy application.

Challenges we ran into

There are quite a few features that the designer wanted to include in the app, without conducting user testing it would not be clear of what are the must-have features or nice-to-have features. All features shown on the home page are considered as the must-have.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The biggest accomplishment is when the designer reached out to 30+ psychologists, 2 of them responded by saying this could be the potential application they would want to adopt in their practices.

What we learned

Building a product is not about perfection, it is about catering to the users' ever-changing needs. The product would have to keep iterating to be adaptable to the market's needs and what is already on the market.

What's next for Moodie the healthcare app

Incorporate more AI functions, explore how AI can help this product to become more user-friendly and attractive to more scope of users.
