Inspiration
I was inspired when I took place into a training about mental health in students and youth in my country
What it does
Leah is a fun app to track mood. It also gives you tasks generated by AI based on the mood that you have it will give you all the information you need as a student and also will give you all these fun tasks which you can play with friends and share how many achievements you’ve got.
How we built it
We build the app using lovable, AI and Gemini API’s for the AI integration with the app
Challenges we ran into
It took months to master the AI capabilities of our app, and also the login page and moving the project to the cloud so for now the project is local only like you can access the project on the cloud, but the information’s are only on device so when we tried better testing the app on our school, we had only one tablet. Every student will login on this one device and they will track. You know their points and everything that they have done in the past 24 hours and then in the end of the day the school psychologist will check for their stuff on the app instead of her, having a dashboard on her personal computer and the students logging in on their personal devices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app is fully working and it has an amazing interface and we believe that the app is going to be better if we integrate more stuff into it and we get the cloud functionality working
What we learned
We learned a lot with this app that is very hard to generate an app when you have no coding skills or cloud skills but also we learned that making something good and making something that’s useful doesn’t take too long. You can just hit up an AI model give them your wonderful idea and then you can get an app fully working in two months but then of course you’re gonna have some problems with it.
What's next for MoodCircle
If we win the money for this project, we are surely gonna hire someone to work with the back end of this app and make it working fully on cloud with two factor authentication and stuff like that
