Inspiration
I wanted to create something that would appeal to almost everyone. We always want to share our feelings, but dont always have the place to do it.
What it does
MoodChat links user together depending on their mood and lets them talk it out.
How we built it
Node, express, sqlite, and vanilla js with css for the frontend
Challenges we ran into
Database querying mainly, as well a getting websockets to work
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The whole thing, but especially how much more confident I am in js after this
What we learned
That teamwork makes the dreamwork. I (Alex) was the one who wrote the code. My parters were there for emotional support ;)
What's next for MoodChat
Implement data visualisation! I am keeping track of the data that is created through MoodChat, but didnt have the time to implement proper graphs and such...
Also, Im going to host it very soon but didnt have the time to get that sorted
