Inspiration
Mental Health
What it does
The website asks the user how they are feeling and outputs uplifting messages sure to make their day a little brighter. The user can also change the background of the website to customize it to their preferences.
How we built it
The website uses css, html, and javescript in order to create a website that utilizes key words from the user input and outputs a reply which relates to the user's mood. Additionally the website uses buttons which changes the background depending on the user's preference between cats or dogs.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble linking certain APIs such as ones with specific emotions and moods to our site in order to optimize the best responses for our users.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our ability to re-adjust resources to write quality code in order to do what we wanted our site to do. Additionally we are proud of our ability to continue forward even when we felt lost or stuck on certain problems.
What we learned
We learned a lot more about web development which includes; css, html, and javascript and front end coding.
What's next for MoodBot
We can try to make it into a chatbot which allows users to make a better connection with our project, allowing them to further understand and work through their personal feelings.
