Inspiration

Inspired by the challenge of applying modern tech like autonomous drones and real-time data to traditional agriculture, making farming smarter and more efficient.

What it does

It's a live, interactive web of an autonomous drone managing a cattle herd. It visualizes real-time positions, provides herd analytics, and allows users to issue commands to the drone.

How we built it

Many languages C++, JS, TS, GO.

This ESP32 firmware utilizes air tags to pinpoint bovine positions, streaming data to Sentry.io. Essential for optimizing herd management, preventing wander-offs, and guiding robot interventions.

Challenges we ran into

A lot! Like connecting all data together and simulating and etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made it work! (kinda)

What we learned

A lot!

Updates

posted an update

More than 500 events are now sent to Sentry — including each cow’s location, temperature, heart rate, and device battery level.

Users can even deploy a drone to guide runaway cows back to the farm, turning cattle management into something surprisingly fun!
