  Moo Deng the Pygmy Hippo

Inspiration

Our project focuses on the endangered Pygmy Hippopotamus, inspired by the viral sensation Moo Deng. With over 2.5 million fans, Moo Deng's fame has brought attention to the plight of pygmy hippos, and we are motivated to further raise awareness about the threat of extinction they face.

What it does

This website was created to spread awareness of how we can help prevent the extinction of Pygmy Hippos.

How we built it

We built this website using HTML and CSS through GitHub, Visual Studio Code, and Canva.

Challenges we ran into

The time constraint was a struggle to work within, as we are not quite finished.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a fully-fledged website to support a cause that is important to us.

What we learned

We learned a lot about various aspects of coding and teamwork, such as debugging and evenly distributing work.

What's next for The Moo Deng Project

While this is originally for HackUMBC, we intend to keep it going and maintain this project.
