Inspiration: We wanted to make communication more accessible for those with hearing problems.
What it does: Provides efficient communication with deaf people in a variety of languages.
How we built it: We used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and hosted it using the node.js server. We used the built in API for speech recognition.
Challenges we ran into: Finding a simple yet good API for the speech recognition, as well as implementing the API.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We're able to recognize multiple different languages accurately.
What we learned: We learned a lot more about creating websites.
What's next for Untitled: Being able to translate the text, so there can be efficient communication with two different nationalities.
