Inspiration
We wanted to build an app geared towards students that needed help academically. People who need a tutor but cannot afford to get one. We decided to build a chatbot that gives constructive feedback on the performance of the students.
What it does
The app initially gives a diagnostic for the student to find the strengths and weaknesses. Then it gives the student more problems to help improve their academic skills
How we built it
Using Java and Android Studio, we build an android app.
Challenges we ran into
Design was our biggest challenge since it was difficult to make an xml file look as stunning as possible. In addition, we had to make multiple scenarios for the chat bot so it gives responsive feedback to the student.
