Inspiration

As students, we often find it hard to keep track of our finances along with our studies and part-time jobs.

What it does

It helps you manage your finances.

How we built it

We used React for the front and used a little bit of express to be in a node environment for a specific need. We also used Figma to design the website.

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time accomplishing everything we had in mind for the website so we had to narrow down some features and even delete others.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we finished the core of the website, it's very simple and easy to understand. We also made a lot of progress considering this is our first hackathon.

What we learned

We learned that having a good brainstorm and a very precise idea of what we want is the most important in this kind of competition.

What's next for Montreal Budget slAI

We want to optimize the project even if we don`t finish what we planned to achieve for this hackathon since it was something really interesting and important for us.
