Inspiration
Computational physics simulations are very interesting to me and I've been wanting to try to work with the Monte Carlo algorithm with some dataset.
What it does
Monte Carlo is unique in the way that it creates a deterministic numerical result from multiple random inputs.
How we built it
Using python in google colab
Challenges we ran into
Using the asteroid csv files as data instead of rng in python
Accomplishments that we're proud of
working with the Monte Carlo method and seeing how it's used in several applications
What we learned
Using specific csv files as input data is hard to work with in Monte Carlo.
What's next for Monte Carlo Simulation with EOG Asteroid
Using all asteroid csv files to compare which drilling efficiency has the highest rate depending on what the other variables are.
Built With
- googlecolab
- python
