MonSight — AI-Powered Assistive Navigation & Safety
Excited to officially submit MonSight to the AI Builders Hackathon!
MonSight is an AI-powered assistive navigation and safety agent designed to help visually impaired users move more safely through changing environments.
The prototype combines real-time computer vision, voice interaction, navigation context, and safety reasoning through an agentic loop:
Perceive → Understand → Reason → Decide → Act → Verify
The current prototype demonstrates real-time obstacle detection, safety decisions, voice-controlled navigation, and medicine-label information extraction.
Built locally with Python, YOLO, OpenCV, Vosk, Tesseract OCR and other open-source tools.
