Severance and Stanley's Parable

What it does

You play as a monkey trying to convince other monkeys at your workplace by playing minigames relating to ethos, logos, pathos to leave and achieve freedom.

We're proud of how we learned Godot during the Hackathon and how we made a lot of our own pixel art (credits to https://www.dafont.com/es/press-start.font for the font, https://axulart.itch.io/small-8-direction-characters for character templating, https://route1rodent.itch.io/isometric-sandbox-pixel-world-32x32 for isometric tile leveling, and https://kekaiyo.itch.io/clouds for adding clouds to the end scene.

What we learned

Game development is very challenging.

Adding more story elements and dialogue options.
