Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was from an Anthropology class. We wanted to find a way to connect what was learned in the Anthropology class to a discord bot.

What it does

Monkee Bot will reply to you with monkey-related facts, fun commands, and information on monkeys.

How we built it

We used VS code, Github, and Discord.js for this project.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges that we ran into is that we had 0 experience making a Discord bot so we had to learn how to implement the code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to get a Discord bot running and actually returning commands that we inputted.

What we learned

What we learned is that you should never give up even if something isn't working. We also learned that making Discord bots can be fun.

What's next for MonkeeBot

The next step for MonkeeBot would be to figure out how to get the bot to join voice channels and play monkey-related songs.
