Inspiration

Helping mums save money with practical, fast, and friendly guidance in one place.

What it does

MoneySaver for Mums offers tips, budgeting tools, meal planning, shopping lists, challenges, and a smart assistant, plus premium upgrades.

How we built it

Expo + React Native + TypeScript with Expo Router for navigation, React Query for data, context providers for shared state, and RevenueCat for subscriptions.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing a clean 4‑tab navigation, optimizing assistant response time on device, and keeping mobile behaviour consistent.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A polished mobile-first UI, a robust tool suite, and a working premium paywall flow.

What we learned

Clear information architecture and performance tuning matter as much as features.
