MoneyKey - Personal Finance Tracker

Inspiration

Managing money is hard. We often lose track of where our money goes, struggle to save, and overspend without realizing it. MoneyKey was created to help people take control of their finances effortlessly—track spending, set savings goals, and get AI-powered advice, all in one place.

What it does

Track Expenses – Automatically logs spending from a CSV file AI Insights – Personalized tips on saving & spending wisely Budget Alerts – Warns if you’re overspending (using Fetch.ai) Savings Goals – Set targets like "Buy a MacBook" & get guidance Rewards – Save money & earn vouchers as a bonus!

How we built it

We combined Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Pathway to track spending in real time. Fetch.ai handles budget alerts, while OpenAI gives smart saving tips. The frontend is simple and user-friendly, built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Users can set savings goals (like buying a MacBook) and earn rewards for smart spending. After lots of testing, we built a smart, seamless finance tracker to help users manage money effortlessly!
