Inspiration

Inspiration was a broad list of items. My dad was day trading when I first came upon this, and the day before, I tried to create an app with AI. That started something, cause like, what if I educate people by creating something I can ACTUALLY create.

Problem It Solves

I'm aware of the lack of financial literacy worldwide, and this app, although limited, fulfills an urgent need for literacy and addresses this problem. Obviously, you must treat it like an educational app and do it to learn.

What it does

This app is an extensive educational software that can easily teach viewers about money, and it even has an advanced section to support users not only in young adulthood but also through marriage and life.

How I built it

So the code and app itself are purely AI-made. I have limited knowledge of how the code itself works, purely because I can’t code yet, so what I can tell you is what it is. This app features five modules, the first four being the foundations, with the capability to teach someone an amazing class with frequent quizzes and a module test to ensure understanding. The fifth module is the advanced one, teaching super-rich, high-quality content that stays valuable for life. There are 40 tips at the bottom to keep users engaged and make it less boring than just reading text. There is also a bit of gamification of completion and fun. However, as anyone who has used AI knows, it very easily can do whatever it wants to do and absolutely ignore what you asked it to do, so I used highly sophisticated prompts, each ranging from a paragraph to an essay in length, written by me, in order to ensure AI is doing what I want and not making it sound like AI. I also learned and dived into making skills and learning about AI agents to maximize output and make this app the best possible.

Challenges I ran into

All the challenges I ran into mostly stemmed from AI confusion, because I was maybe a bit too demanding. I would say our biggest challenge was when AI accidentally turned my app into a game, which might have been my fault. Another big challenge was the AI credit limit, because apparently, I was asking it too much, so I had to wait 20 days just to continue my prompts. Also, your progress may not save, which is a BIG PROBLEM, but you probably won't face this problem.

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

My prompts and the fact that I actually spent considerable time writing them.

What I learned

How to use AI, AI skills, AI agents, prompt maximizing, detecting inefficiencies in an app, and patience dealing with AI.

What's next for MoneyForU

I’m definitely going to have AI insert more content, based on what I think is missing. I’m also going to learn a bit about how to code, so I don’t have to completely rely on AI for doing something like this. I might even go mainstream if I make a fundraiser and get a considerable amount of money.
