Seeing shows like Shark Tank or Dragon's den gave me an idea that how pitching investors and seeking investments work but can it happen virtually ? Why not right ? So, yes I made it possible.
What it does
ReadyMoney is a platform where Aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world can pitch their business models to a panel of investors and persuade them to invest money in their idea but with a twist! It all happens virtually! just while sitting on your Couch. ReadyMoney is built for enhancing the reach of small businesses, start-ups, local communities or even local groups. You can either sign up as an Investor or as a business/startup seeking funds or raising Capital. It enables Your Data to Take Your Business to Higher Grounds by providing Cloud Analytics Modernization, Data Science Acceleration etc.
How I built it
Since we had only the weekend and ReadyMoney required many functionalities, I used Velo by Wix to implement this idea.
Challenges I ran into
I had never used Velo in my Life! I've always built applications from scratch and learning to use an entirely new technology was a major milestone!
Accomplishments that I am proud of
I can seem a little boastful here, but damn! I learnt a entire new thing and built an amazing website out of it! Isn't that worth being proud of ?
What's next for ReadyMoney - Shark Tank with a Twist
I am planning to extend the platform the local communities who need donations and the donors.
