Inspiration

The idea for Money Minder came to me as a student facing the challenge of managing a limited budget. Like many students, I received a fixed amount of money for my monthly expenses, but I often found myself running out of funds before the month ended. The problem was that I had no clear record of where I was spending the most. I realized that many of my friends faced the same issue, and countless students continue to struggle with budgeting effectively. This led me to develop Money Minder—a simple yet powerful tool to help students and others track their expenses, manage their budgets, and gain better financial control.

What it does

Money Minder allows users to track daily expenses, monitor budgets, and visualize financial trends with easy-to-understand charts and reports. It helps users stay organized, gain insights, and achieve financial goals.

How we built it

Money Minder is built using Flutter and Dart, ensuring a smooth cross-platform experience. We used the Provider package for state management and Sqflite for local database storage, enabling efficient offline functionality.
