our inspiration is the percentage of people not only in our classes but in America that doesn't know its currency.

What it does

Money Math is a website created by Addison Rosario and Charlotte Thuma, designed to help people learn about American currency. Targeted primarily at younger audiences, it also offers valuable insights for older learners. This engaging platform gamifies the learning experience, making it not only informative but also enjoyable. With a focus on understanding dollars and change, Money Math addresses the significant number of people who struggle with currency concepts. Its fun approach aims to make learning easy and effective for everyone.

How we built it

We built it on scratch and then made the website on trinket

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into we're definitely trying to get finished on time that was the biggest one by far. Some other challenges we faced consisted of the code buffering, trying to find the right information to add into the website, and last but not least The art, its not the best but we tried to go with a Alice and wonderland theme.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Some accomplishments we're proud of is getting this done, it took a lot of hard work from both ends and we're just so happy we came out with the best we could do.

What we learned

We learned that many unlike ourselves are less fortunate to not have the resources to learn the currency of America let alone be able to make a website like this.

What's next for Money Math

Hopefully next for money math is winning this years Technica and continue building this app not just for us but also for our community
