Inspiration
One of the troubles that an international student might face is managing his/her money efficiently as an international student I understand that managing your money is one of the most important aspect of UNI life.
What it does
The project is not yet complete but as of now the project displays the items in 3 columns and helps us organise our expenses in an efficient manner. The web has inbuilt graphs to show how much you have spent in the last week and on what items.
How we built it
This is BS Appliciation. We use the light-weight database sqlite and localStorage of Browser to store the data.Besides, the server side is based on koa platform.And Front end page is a SPA, based on vue.js.
Challenges we ran into
Connecting the SQLITE server to the website, our idea was to add a search engine but it is beyond the scope of this hackathon. The site is not very appealing because of the time constraints but we will improve it in the weeks to come.
What we learned
Making a website is harder than it seems, finding bugs in it is not.
