Inspiration

Inspired by the popular Netflix show Money Heist

How we built it

we were unable to code the game due to unforeseen challenges that will be talked about later in this Project Story. However, we did create a basic outline of what we wanted to code if we had more time

Challenges we ran into

None of the three of us had ever done game design before so just learning the interface and how to work. in this environment was one of the biggest challenges. The other main challenge was that all of us ended up having other major school assignments that ended up being due the same day which severely limited our time to work on the project. We normally would have been able to do much more but were unable to spend the time we wanted on this project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud however of our idea and our initial planning for this game. We also were proud of what we were about to figure out about game design and roblox through our experimentation even though we were unable to create out own game.

What we learned

We learned a ton about game design and how to properly work on a collaborate project, which means staying out of each other's ways when coding (not selected the same models as your team member)

What's next for Money Heist

We look forward to actually coding this game when we have more time.

Plan: Theme: Time is Running Out Game Game: Money Heist

Overview: Based on the popular Netflix series revolving around the daring heist at the Royal Mint of Spain. Despite the success of the heist in the series, losses include Oslo, Moscow, and Berlin. Immersed in Spanish language and culture. Gameplay: Players start as either guards or thieves.

Guards' Goal:Prevent thieves from accessing the vault. Coordinate with fellow guards to maintain security and apprehend intruders. Thieves' Goal:Infiltrate the Royal Mint using stealth or brute force, bypassing security measures undetected.Crack the vault and steal as much money as possible within time limits. Coordinate with team members, utilize special abilities, and outsmart guards to successfully escape with the loot.

Characters:

Thieves:Led by Professor Alvaro More.Operates under a code not to harm anyone during the heist.Calls the shots and leads the team with city-themed code names: Rio, Nairobi, Tokyo, Helsinki, Denver, Moscow, Oslo, Berlin.

Guards:Tasked with maintaining security and preventing the heist.
