Money for Mentors

Money for Mentors is a website that teaches you about underfunded schools and lets you donate to these underfunded schools, tell us about underfunded schools you know and you can learn more about us!

Inspiration

Our inspiration was a HTML workshop we went to. Also, we've seen schools that are underfunded and we learned about them, and we all felt bad. We decided to create this to help and bring notice to those schools! _Fun fact: The US is underfunding 2 years of food for everyone in the US!

What it does

This website allows you to:

  • Learn more about underfunded schools
  • You can register schools that you think might be underfunded so we can bring notice to them!
  • You can also donate to help schools :) ## How we built it We made this on repl.it in CSS, HTML, and a tiny bit of Javascript using Airtable and gofundme as well. ## Challenges we ran into We ran into some design issues and some team issues that we had to fix! ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We're really proud of our gofundme because we want to take action. We're also proud of our homepage :D ## What we learned We learned a lot of coding, information about underfunded schools, and teamwork during the AngelHacks hackathon. ## What's next for Money for Mentors Donation, promotion, and more help!
