Money Branch

Inspiration

If you haven’t yet noticed, money is what we rely on 24/7. However, money can also be the cause of all our problems. This may be because one may not have enough money or can not afford to get their needs met. Due to this, they will not have access to their necessaries. One way to solve this is to save as much money as you can. And that is how I came up with Money Branch.

What it does

I created an app essentially providing tips on how to save money. I also included a chatbot, so if you have any questions, you are more than welcome to ask! This app is also meant to spread awareness of how important Money is, and to know that you should never misuse Money.

How we built it

Since I created an app, I used Figma for the main process. Figma is also where I displayed the output. To find tips on how to save money, I did research by using Google. I also had some styling difficulties on Figma, so I used Canva to help me out a bit.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge I ran into was creating the chatbot. Since it was a little hard to create an actual interactive and user-friendly bot, I instead designed the concept of what I wanted it to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am extremely proud of building my first app, using Figma! I am also pretty proud about the goal of this app, since this is a real-life situation, and should be handled correctly.

What we learned

I mainly learned how to use and navigate Figma. In the beginning, I had a lot of trouble understanding how to use Figma, but I was gradually able to catch up, and make an app! From this app itself, I also learned how much money is valuable. Before I started this project, I knew that Money is what got us here today, but I never knew that we rely on Money 24/7.

What's next for Money Branch

If I had the materials, like a macbook, I would probably want to make this app official. Currently, I just designed and brainstormed the app, however I did not create an actual app, I did not make it with code. So that is what I hope to do in the future, if I had the materials!
